Instrumental music
Music at Laidley SHS is designed to provide students with learning experiences and achievable short term goals that are in line with their long term musical ambitions – vocational or recreational.
Students are expected to participate in a variety of relevant, sequential activities to develop their skills performing, composing and analysing music.
All students are welcome to participate in the school instrumental music program to enhance their musical skills and be involved with our school concert band. The band practises regularly and performs at a variety of school and community events including camps, tours, school and community events such as Anzac Day ceremonies, ASPIRE Parades, Education Week, Splendour in the Hall and more!
