Our school recognises that raising a child, particularly a teenager, is one of the most challenging and rewarding things a parent or guardian will do in their life.

To help support your teenager, we collated the below resources - designed to help parents to raise happy, healthy and productive young people with enhanced academic, social and behaviour outcomes.

ReachOut Parents - A new service to help parents help teenagers. When a parent recognises a teenager needs help, they’re more likely to get it. On this site you will find fact sheets, stories, practical tips and tools covering a range of topics, issues and experiences that are relevant to teenagers aged 12–18 years.

Better Health - an A to Z guide of health, medical information, services and support to parents.

Raising Children Network - the Australian parenting website.

Headspace - providing early intervention mental health services to 12-25 year olds. The service is designed to make it easy as possible for a young person and their family to get the help they need for problems affecting their wellbeing. This covers four core areas: mental health, physical health, work and study support and alcohol and other drug services.

Triple P Parenting Program - gives parents simple tips to help manage the big and small problems of family life.  Problems like toddler tantrums or teenage rebellion. Self-esteem issues. Bedtime battles. Disobedience. Aggression.

School A to Z - practical help for parents to support your child's learning.
